Where do I begin? We knew we were in good hands from the first appointment we had with Dr Ambarish Chatterjee. He has recently performed Classical Whipple surgery of my father on **** June 2022 at **** Hospital, Nashik to remove a periampullary tumor. It was a scary time for us, but Dr Chatterjee was so patient and explained everything so well that put us at ease. He quickly diagnosed the lesion and confidently counselled us about the procedure with excellent bedside manner and professionalism. He took time necessary to explain the procedures-even drawing pictures, answered all questions. He called us before surgery to see if we had any more questions, and he called several times after to see how my father was doing and to update me on the results. He emphasized that I should feel free to contact him any time with any questions. I think the highest compliment one can give a doctor is that they treat a patient like a member of their family and Dr Ambarish Chatterjee did that for us. We feel so lucky to have found him!
