He is an awardee of the prestigious scholarship from Federation of Applied Research in Gastrointestinal Oncology Italy (FARGO). He has been a faculty for ‘Certificate course in Entero-Stomal Therapy’. He has been instrumental in establishing three notable databases at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (Anorectal Melanoma, Cytoreductive Surgery +/- HIPEC, Intra-peritoneal port in advanced colorectal cancers). He is an office bearer of the INDEPSO and has played a vital role in forming the treatment guidelines for management of peritoneal mesothelioma and anorectal melanoma in India.
